VMO teaches the Word of God and helps apply it to your daily life and daily walk with Jesus Christ. Yes, there are endless other Veteran services that are very much needed and we commend them as they too play a major role for us Veterans. VMO however feels that our sole mission is detrimental to your life.

Veteran suicide is an ongoing phenomenon regarding the high rate of suicide among U.S. military veterans in comparison to the general civilian public. The VA reports that veterans consist of 13.5% of all deaths by suicide in US adults and make up 7.9% of the US adult population.
The divorce rate in the U.S. hover between 40 and 50 percent, but that number jumps to 80 percent for combat veterans. The suicide rate for veterans is also staggeringly high. The reasons why those numbers are so astronomical are complicated and wide-ranging.
Over 10% of veterans meet criteria for a substance use disorder, the clinical diagnosis for addiction. Alcohol is the primary substance for 65% of veterans entering treatment centers—nearly twice the rate of civilians. Veterans who abuse alcohol are at greater risk of experiencing or committing violence, suffering from negative health consequences, and having a shorter lifespan.
